Ticket Purchases
- Can I make my reservation at TACA.COM and purchase my ticket later?

- This service is not currently available, you must purchase your ticket when you make your reservation at TACA.COM.

- Can I purchase tickets at TACA.COM for passengers other than myself?

- Yes, you may purchase tickets at TACA.COM for up to seven passengers regardless if you're traveling or not.

- I made my reservation at TACA.COM and I can no longer travel. Do I need to cancel the reservation?

- Yes, its necessary for you to cancel the reservation. You'll receive a credit for future travel less a cancellation fee, or a refund for the unused ticket depending on the Fare Family you purchased.

- I purchased my ticket at TACA.COM, did not print my itinerary, and forgot to write down my reservation number. What should I do?

- You can obtain your reservation number with our Search Reservation option, you only have to enter the email you used to make the purchase, and we’ll send you the confirmation number to your e-mail. Then you can enter this number in My Itinerary to display your reservation information.

- I purchased a ticket and cannot make one of my flights. Will my reservation be canceled?

- You must take all flights in your itinerary in the order purchased; otherwise your entire reservation is subject to cancellation. If you're unable to make one of your flights, please call our TACA Call Center before your travel date. A change fee and additional collection may apply depending on the Fare Family you purchased.

- Can I change the date of my trip?

- Date changes are subject to space availability.
If you purchased a PROMO, ACCESS, BENEFIT or PREMIUM Fare Family, you will have to pay a penalty for these changes; these depend on each family’s benefits. Also, if the original fare is no longer available, you must pay the difference between the current fare and the one you purchased.
To change the date, call our TACA Call Center and /or visit any of our TACA Centers.

- Can I change my itinerary routes?

- If you want to change your itinerary and you haven’t started your trip, you may use your ticket as payment for the issuance of a new itinerary with the desired routes.
In case you purchased a PROMO, ACCESS, BENEFIT or PREMIUM Fare Family, you cannot make any route changes once you’ve started your travel.

- Can I select my seat?

- Yes, you may do so by using Online Check-in 24 hours before your flight departure. While checking in, you can select the available seat of your preference.

- Can I change the name on my ticket?

- Tickets are NOT transferable; therefore you cannot change the name on your ticket.

- Are airport taxes included in my ticket’s price?

- Taxes are included in your ticket; in some countries, however, do not charge taxes though the airline. In these cases, you must pay the pending taxes at the airport.
